Biography

Jessica is currently pursuing an SJD from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Visiting Researcher at UCLA School of Law. Her primary research focus is international criminal procedure. She earned her LL.M. (Concentration in Human Rights) with distinction from Penn Law in 2010 as a Thouron Scholar and also holds an LL.M. in Public International Law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. Jessica received her LL.B. in European, International and Comparative Law from the University of Sheffield in 2007, and also spent time at the University of Hong Kong. Previously, she worked in the Defense Services Section of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, and was an intern in the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and with the Security Council at the United Nations in New York.
